Video Issue on Systems with AMD OPGA / OUGA Graphic Cards

Problem:
Video Issue on Systems with AMD OPGA / OUGA Graphic Cards.

Discussion:
*ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT (OPGA5) Dual Monitor graphics card offering was placed on global engineering hold last Friday, September 28th. Hold was set due to a high number of failures on this card in the field. The failure has been duplicated by the engineering team on samples pulled from the factory.
*Engineering performed failure analysis over the weekend but was unable to identify the root cause of the problem. Dell engineering, Foxconn, ASUS, and ATI are all working on this issue, and all material/inventory has been isolated in the hub.
*Americas COC updated lead time to 15 days on card. 2400 Pro (single monitor) remains at standard lead time (4 days).

Symptom:
Issues include lines on the screen, no video, black screen, and blue screen.
Systems Impacted:
- OptiPlex 755, 745, 740, 745c
- Attach rate 5% on OptiPlex, 22% on OptiPlex 755

Solution:
Just download the updated drivers. Here are the direct links to the files.
They also now appear as “urgent” downloads after selecting an appropriate system > video drivers.
OUGA5 - AMD Radeon HD2400 Pro XP driver: R168671.EXE
OPGA5 - Radeon HD 2400 XT: R168681.EXE
