Problem:
System wakes up after a few seconds when in sleep mode.
Resolution:
1. Click on Start or Pearl, Right-click on Computer and choose Properties.
The System Properties screen appears.
2. On the left navigation pane, click on Device Manager under Tasks.
The User Account Control window appears requesting elevation.
3. Click on Continue.
The Device Manager window appears.
4. Locate Network adapters and click on the plus [+] sign beside it to view the sub-list.
5. Double-click on Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller.
The Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller Properties window appears.
6. Click on Advanced tab.
7. On the list of Properties, click on Wake Up Capabilities.
8. Change the Value from Both to None.
9. Click on OK.
